Please leave out passwords, payment details, private recordings, and sensitive transcripts.
Mac release status
The Mac App Store version is being prepared for review and is not yet available from the store. Earlier direct-download builds may behave differently. Dictore Pro for the planned Mac release is a one-time in-app purchase; it does not use a separate license code.
Dictation does not begin
Open Dictore from its menu-bar icon, check your chosen shortcut, and confirm microphone access in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone. If you selected an offline Whisper model, make sure its download has finished. Supported on-device languages may also require Apple's language components.
My words do not appear in another app
Check Dictore's Accessibility permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Place the cursor in an editable text field before dictating. Some apps or protected fields limit automatic insertion; your transcript remains available in Dictore to copy and paste. Tell us which app and field were affected.
Purchases and restoring Pro
Use Restore Purchases in the Apple app with the Apple Account that made the purchase. App Store billing and refund requests are handled by Apple. Microsoft Store purchases and refunds are handled by Microsoft. For help with an earlier direct purchase, contact support with the purchase email or order reference; do not send full payment-card details.
iPhone and iPad
The iOS app is still in development. Its keyboard, system controls and background recording workflow are being validated before App Store submission. It is not currently available as a public App Store release.
